First comprised of frontman Nate Boff on guitar and vocals, Bowen Schultz on bass, and Curt Sigg on drums, Blue Tantrum started out as a trio of high school friends in a basement that just plain enjoyed playing music. It wouldn't be long until they began playing the local club and bar scene all over Ohio and surrounding states, catching attention of musicians and crowds many years their senior. Not only for the fact that on any other night they weren't performing, they wouldn't even be permitted in the bar at their age, but add that they were playing soul-screaming blues without hesitation. After about a year or so of steady work, Bowen graduated high school and moved away to pursue further education. He was then replaced by Greg Barth who can be heard on the EP. In February of 2006 Blue Tantrum went their separate ways after playing shows with the likes of Chris Duarte, Indigenous, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Arc Angels, Lonnie Brooks, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Sardinas, and many more. Nate and Greg still reunite occasionally to perform with Chuck Mauk on drums. Currently Nate is playing guitar and sharing vocal duties on another project known as the Disciples of Sound, with former Indigenous bassist Pte.
