The music of Billy Jones represents the emergence of a new generation of delta-based bluez artists. This cd is the debut effort of the singer/guitarist whose music is deeply rooted in the rich blues/soul heritage and tradition of the delta, while at the same time, the music is very much in tune to the modern tastes and urban attitudes of today’s twenty-first century music fans…. He calls it tha’ Bluez ! The 14 original songs on this cd were all written and performed by him.
