Curt Campbell (The Eclectic Beast Band) leads that great blues-rock band you'd expect to hear every Friday night at your local beer-soaked roadhouse. But add a violin, a world-class horn section, jazz-fusion influences and you've got a stylistically volatile collective that will kick any venue into high gear. Campbell's vocals and lyrics have a story-telling quality that are a great complement to the band's jump blues. Campbell grew up in Marin County during the 60's and the 70's and his music reflects the sounds of the San Francisco Bay Area Music Scene. After graduating from Tamalpais High School in 1974 he enlisted in the Navy and spent a career in the Navy SEAL's and his music and original lyrics reflect the highs and lows of those experiences. Curt known as "The Beast" to his friend's brings with him some of the finest studio class musicians and sidemen in the world today including: Garth Webber (Guitar) Jack Conrad (Bass Guitar), Dan Marsisi (Drums), Tony Lafrano (Keyboards), Johnnie Bamont (Sax) Marvin McFadden (Trumpet), Sal Cracchiolo (Trumpet), Eric Jorgenson (Trombone), Carlos Reyes (Electrified Fiddle) and Glenn Jordan (Acoustic Guitar). The Eclectic Beast Band plays only original music! This music is a funky edgy eclectic blend of rocking original material.
