Takes you on a musical journey that winds down a road of blues, rock, and a little jazz accented with sultry vocals and singing guitar reflecting different vibrations and emotions.
Dave Steffen has blended newly written songs with a couple of old favorites written in the past that his fans have been asking for on this outstanding CD. The "Eve of Autumn" takes you on a musical journey that winds down a road of blues, rock, and more. The songs were written from personal experiences, life and love, and dreams of a creative musical architect. Dave proves once again that he is an awesome musician. His guitar that has been with him since he was a young lad sings with the caress of his fingers. Craig Neuser, the bands bass player, has written one of the songs called "I'm Goin' Home" that rocks hard with a straight ahead beat. All three members contributed to the writing of the title song, "Eve of Autumn". If you like a little jazz you'll enjoy "Could It Be?" which has a jazzy dreamlike feel. Like the decore of autumn the "Eve of Autumn" reflects different vibrations filled with color and emotions. Dave Steffen invites you to listen to the autumn colors.
Dave had to do double duty while writing the songs for this one. Along with writing the songs for "Eve of Autumn" Dave has also written songs for his other band called the String Benders.
