Sterling Koch is an internationally recognized blues guitarist and guitar instructor. Jack Kulp is a respected, professional blues harmonica player. Together they form Crossroads Duo. Crossroads Duo is an acoustic musical act featuring the acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars and vocals of Sterling Koch and the harmonica and vocals of Jack Kulp performing acoustic blues and blues based acoustic rock. Sterling and Jack have been performing together for many years only recently under the “Crossroads” moniker and their smooth, precise vocal harmonies have become a signature of their sound.
The duo perform at many coffeehouses, restaurants, wineries, nightclubs, blues festivals and other events through out eastern Pennsylvania. They have opened for Shemekia Copeland, Lita Ford, Savoy Brown, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Poppa Chubby and others. They have also performed at many nationally known venues including Wilkes Barre's Kirby Theater, The Bitter End, Kenny’s Castaways and Cornelia Street Café (all in New York City), the well known blues nightclubs Stanhope House and Bubba Mac’s Blues Shack (both in New Jersey), Mauch Chunk Opera House (Jim Thorpe, PA) and many other venues throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
