Ivan Marcio fell in love with the harp to the thirteen-year-old began his career in 1994 with the Bluseiros de Sarja.

In 1999 joins the Prado brothers born and Prado Blues Band, which became in 2004 the revelation of Blues and pioneered a musical style, Jump Blues - "The Prado Blues Band is a graduate of the Brazilian Blues" Nuno Mindelis says in the Diario do Grande ABC. In 2006, with two CDs on the market the band is invited by Flávio Guimarães in a unique partnership in its third CD - "Flávio Guimarães & Prado Blues Band". Besides being a national reference for musicians visitors, festivals and major events is the first Latin band to join the cast of the U.S. label Pacific Blues from Jerry Hall.
His work in educational courses Harmonica Project Youth Citizenship in Sao Bernardo do Campo earned him praise from Billy Branch at the International Blues of St. Andre in 2006, where congratulated for publishing the true story of the Blues. His academic background also helps in making various workshops throughout Brazil.
Following in the footsteps of the pioneers of blues, Ivan Marcio traveled to Chicago in June 2008 to recording his first solo album on Delmark Records with world renowned musicians, and took the opportunity to participate in large jams by the most famous Blues clubs in town . During his stay played on the 25th Chicago Blues Festival on stage Juke Joint. With all this baggage Music Ivan Marcio invites the audience on a fascinating journey to the greatest classics of the blues.
