Victor Hamudis, the blues and country musician (ex Durazno de Gala and El Soldado, among others), will present songs from his latest work “One foot in the blues, one foot in de country”. Born in Buenos Aires, Victor Hamudis has been playing since the early 60s, with countless bands and soloists. He began playing drums for musicians such as Teddy Vega, singer of “Hair” (musical theater), Nacho Smilari, from Barra de Chocolate, Vox Dei, Willy Pedemonte, la Pesada del Rock & Roll. Musician for Claudia Puyó, he was also part of the musicians in the era of La Falda Rock. In the 70s, he founded Studebaker, a remembered Buenos Aires blues band, together with Yalo López & Botafogo. In the early 80s, he formed Durazno de Gala with Botafogo and Yalo López, a porteño blues band, unique in its style and remembered to this day as the best Argentine blues band of the 80s and 90s. After recording their first album with Yalo López & Río Místico, with a Southern songs & Country style, they were called to play with Vargas Blues Band in Spain. He released two (2) albums with Yalo López & Río Místico. Currently, he is presenting his first solo album, called “One foot in the blues, one foot in the country”, with Patricio “Patito” Raffo on drums and Daniel “Pato” Altieri on bass and keyboards, with the special participation of Pol Castillo, as a guest on one of his songs.
