The music on this album runs the gauntlet from Southern Rock-inspired to British Blues to Beatle-esque vocals, characterized by gritty guitar work, horns, pedal steel and strings.
Guitars used included a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, 2005 Fender Straocaster, 2009 Carvin, Fender Fretless Jazz Bass, G&L 5-string bass, Taylor 610-CE and Dobro Hound Dog. Horns were via Mojo Horns, strings via Roland Dimension Pro, keys via Sonar Piano. All tracks were recorded using Cakewalk Sonar X3, through an RME Fireface 800, Presonus Tube Preamplifier, Groove Tubes microphones and Yamaha electronic drum kit.
