This is a CD born from a truly international internet collaboration. It proves that musicians thousands of miles apart can truly bond to perform and produce wonderful music without ever having been in the same room together - let alone, country! This CD has idividual musicians featured from UK, North Carolina, South Carolina and Australia. This CD primarily combines the talents of Johnny Gray (a UK singer/songwriter, composer and producer) and Jimmy Dean Brooks (a guitar player from North Carolina). Johnny Gray is a prolific singer/songwriter, composer and producer based in Leeds, UK. His music always carries a strong personal message which all individuals can relate to and is put over to his audience with dynamic compositions topped with his raw unique soulful voice for maximum effect on the listener's heart strings. This already powerful combination is enhanced by the emotional interpretations of Jimmy Dean Brooks, a brilliant guitarist based in North Carolina. Many moons ago, he mastered his instrument and went on to work Stage and Sound with superstars such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Elvin Bishop, The Allman Brothers Band, Atlanta Rhythm Section, ZZ Top, Santana, Robert Palmer, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, Kiss, Boston, Lynyrd Skynrd, Jackson Browne, Harry Chapin, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Marshall Tucker Band, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel (to name but a few!) - jamming, sharing the stage setups, and sound for some of the greatest superstars in the history of music. So a wealth of experience and skill which he blends subtly into the overall emotional experience for the listener. Also featured is Six String Woody on Slide Guitar from South Carolina, a talented composer in his own right.
