"Time Has Come", the first album by French guitarist Phil Vermont, will be released on November 8, 2024 via Rock'n Hall.Between influences from modern blues (Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Larkin Poe) and more classical references (Gary Moore, Steve Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top), Phil Vermont leads the dance through the 12 tracks of this first album thanks to very varied atmospheres. Born from the scene, the musician has made sure to restore this energy that characterizes the great records with an extra soul by recording the bass/drums takes live in the studio.
Produced by Neal Black, "Time Has Come" is the result of a close collaboration that sees the Texan guitarist play on 3 tracks. "I met Neal through my drummer Jean Michael Tallet, who was also Neal's drummer for several years. I played in the opening act. Neal saw and enjoyed the show and therefore offered to work together if I considered making an album in the future. We worked remotely until the studio sessions in January 2024 when he joined me in my home studio.
