At the core of Corey Congilio’s journey is his love for the blues. A seasoned sideman and hired gun for 25 years, Corey has built a rich and multifaceted career in music — earning recognition as a touring guitarist, session musician, educator, and presenter. Growing up in a household brimming with music, it seemed inevitable that the guitar would become central to Corey Congilio’s life.
“A Good Place To Start” pays homage to some of my favorite classic blues songs done MY way. I wanted to pay tribute to the songs while putting them through my own musical filter and…there’s plenty of fun guitar work for you to sink your teeth into!
