In quite a short time, Pontchartrain Shakers has become one of the favorite groups of the audience of New Orleans area.Formed in 2018, the band is led by the charismatic Amedee Frederick on vocals and guitar, who reveals himself as a singer gifted with a wide vocal range, besides gathering a long experience working in different southeast Louisiana bands, and Jojjo Wight on guitar and vocals, a virtuoso guitar player and multi-instrumentalist, who in her teenager years started playing drums to move after to guitar around countless New Orleans clubs. Friends for years and now partners, both have played together since they were young, until they finally decided to form this band and fully devote themselves to promote it.To do so they have included Luciano Leáes on piano and organ, Red DeVecca on bass and Earl Smith Jr. on drums.That is the reason why they now count with a large number of followers who enjoy each and every one of their live shows, something that confirms that most fans around the world will also enjoy and be happy when they listen to the recording, as well as dance and get the feeling the band communicates in each of the album songs.
