2018 is a year etched in the band's calendar, a year marked by many important milestones, numbers few can achieve, and which further solidify one of the most respected and admired careers in Europe in recent years. 15 years, 8 albums, and 1,000 concerts are some of the figures they will reach this year. /
So this one's a little different. Hailing from Bilbao in the Spanish Basque Country, Travellin’ Brothers aren't exactly a fixture on the American Blues scene. But they undoubtedly play an infectious brand of Jumpin’ Blues/Soul that would easily fit in here. The band may be from Spain, but its music is certainly American in origin. The singing is all in English. Another interesting thing about the band is that there are multiple versions of the lineup. According to their website, there's the core six-piece band pictured above, two different eight-person lineups, and a "Big Band" with 16 players. If you get to Europe any time soon check out the band's tour schedule. Whichever version you see, it'll be entertaining.
