Mike Schau and Highway 61 have long deserved wide international recognition for both their original scores and classic blues rock covers. This is a talented, tight, blues band that has that extra special ingredient of raw emotion- and they clearly enjoy playing. Mike's interpretation of Dick Dale's "Pipeline" (later covered by Dick and Stevie Ray Vaughn) is, IMO, superior to all other versions. Any blues fan will enjoy this- great song selection and performances.
