Dan McCutcheon (singer and guitarist) was one of the organizers of the band "Jungle Rooster" (from Livermore, CA) in 2008. The band mainly performed live. The main direction of the band was rock and roll. The press noted that "Jungle Rooster" isn't old school rock – it's just rock'n roll the way you like it: burning guitars, head-banging tempos, dizzying arpeggios, in-your-face vocals, and not a keyboard in sight! In 2017, Dan McCutcheon left "Jungle Rooster" and created a band of the same name to play and sing blues. Having released one album in 2018 under the name "The Dan McCutcheon Band", the band disbanded.
