Edmonton’s 9-piece soul/blues/roots dynamo Secondhand Dreamcar have released  album Get Ready, which is due for release September.25, 2026.
"Get Ready"  is an ideal follow-up to The Dreamcar’s JUNO-nominated debut Answer the Call; it engenders a more mature and confident iteration of the approach the band has always taken in the studio – to capture the sound and energy of their live shows as faithfully as possible. As with Answer the Call, the bulk of Get Ready was recorded live off the floor at Riverdale Recorders in Edmonton, and it’s full of songs that deliver on every level – with tight and irresistible grooves, engaging and meaty lyrics, and first-rate musicianship.
