Livin' With The Blues album for sale by Gene Deer & The Blues Band was released Aug 11, 1998 on the Slippery Noodle Sound label. Personnel: Gene Deer (vocals, guitar); Byron Graves (harmonica); Bill Mallers (keyboards); Darrell Cox, Charles B., Rick Bole (drums); Keith Yount (percussion). Livin' With The Blues CD music Audio Mixers: Chris Lieber; Paul Mahern. From Indiana. This is a wonderful CD from an excellent bluesman! It comes closest to capturing the feeling and the intensity of his live show. Gene wrote all of the songs on this CD, with the exception of "Smokestack Lightning". "Potato Soup" is a prime example of instrumental blues at it's best! "Good With the Bad" is a beautifully written lovesong. There is plenty on this CD to entice new listeners to the blues, as well as satisfy the hardcore blues fan.
