Again Live-Blues-Power on Brambus Records: ANDY EGERT and his blues band are one of the most appearing live-bands of Switzerland and has got a high reputation during the last ten years. After three studio albums, the band now celebrates its 10th anniversary with a strong and dynamic live-album, presenting blues at its best and in the tradition of their great heroes Eric Clapton, Freddie, Albert und B.B. King, Alvin Lee, Jimi Hendrix and also Robert Johnson!
The powerful blues and the dynamic live show of the band has got great reviews, also on same stages with Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack, Steve Marriott, Bernard Allison, Dave Baker, Mick Clarke and Louisiana Red! The line-up of the Andy Egert Blues Band currently has the bandleader in the middle and Robi Karmann (bass) and Michi Stulz (drums), both best known from their work with the longestablished Lazy Poker Blues Band.Ten songs with more than one hour playing time have been recorded, mostly dynamic blues power with some well known titles penned by Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix and others, but also including some not less faszinating original compositions by Andy Egert.Live-Blues-Power, "Made In Switzerland" but ready for the world.
