A bit of local hard blues on record; it is hardly something you have been spoiled with over the years. It is therefore just a matter of thanking, receiving and stomping the beat. Boogie Leg is a trio from Norrköping and Söderköping that originates from Johan Wigge's really toxic guitar playing. The trio is completed with Stefan Wallberg and Anders Krusell on drums and bass respectively and the three swing hard, heavy and massive together. Like most other Swedish blues bands, Boogie Leg draws on the extensive and traditional treasure trove of blues. There are still standards that are not broken.
As band considered for Boogie Leg primarily the thoughts of the 60s white British blues band with John Mayall at the head. That innate feel has been replaced by a reckless swing and after listening through Cut to the Bone I'm pretty pumped to see and hear the combo live.
