Joe Galea brings his years of experience to this tight knit group of exceptional musicians. Influences are soul artists such as Wilson Pickett, William Bell, Chuck Willis to one of Joe's favorite artists Delbert McClinton. Whether it is Rockin n Blues, Soul or Country Rock the audience never stays seated when the Joe Galea Band are on stage. Joe learnt his craft entertaining U.S. troops during the Vietnam war and also played regularly in some of Sydney's top Clubs in the 60's. There are very few bands that combine rock, soul, country rock and blues. As well as Joe's strong, gutsy voice Joe has hand picked his line up to include some of Australia's most experience musicians including the legendary Jimmie Sloggett who has played with such artists as Johnny O'Keefe and Max Merritt.
