Since his first public performances in the early 70's in Denver, Catfish has toured the country both as a solo artist and in bands performing in clubs, coffeehouses, music festivals and concerts. His favorite style of music is a combination of Blues & Rock. He has performed in bands ranging from traditional blues and folk to more modern rock and roll. He lived on Maui for 30 years and windsurfs. This is a blues/rock album from Catfish John Tisdell featuring some outstanding guitar, harmonica, sax and organ solos. Original songs written by Catfish John are: "Ain't That The Blues" - title cut, "It's Not Over" ( Until The End ), and "Fair Enough". He shows his rock influences with a ZZ Top song, "Sharp Dressed Man", and Tom Petty with Stevie Nicks, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around". Several blues classics are included also like, "Texas Flood" by Stevie Ray Vaughn, "Walking On Sunset" from John Mayall, and "I Loved Another Woman" by Peter Green. He also plays drums on several tracks.
