The result of an idea thought up by some of the most amazingly talented musicians around who wanted to band together and perform with our tag - what a massive compliment! We always knew it would be brilliant, but it was more than that - it was phenomenal! Huge thanks to John Fenlon who pulled it all together, and each time The Allstars play here he will be bringing in a different group. John Fenlon - Bristol-based blues legend! A beautifully skilled harmonica player and vocalist, John is one of the most highly respected musicians around and famed as much for his music as his larger than life personality. He is also responsible for forming and fronting the amazing John Fenlon Blues Band which overnight became one of the most popular blues bands in the West of England. One of the very first members of the band was phenomenal young guitarist Charlie Derrick who tragically died in 2003 at just 20 years old. Every year the band hold a special gig in memory of Charlie and to raise awareness of and funds for The Charlie Derrick Music Bursary so that Charlie's passion for music lives on in his legacy.
