This project marks the collaboration between Eric Assmar (Bahia), Jefferson Gonçalves (Rio de Janeiro), and Gustavo Andrade (Minas Gerais), cementing the musical union of three powerhouses of Brazilian blues from three different states—a celebration of great musical connections! The partnership came about quite spontaneously following a joint performance for the @oxeejazz project. That show was recorded, and this new album features four previously unreleased live tracks captured that day, alongside three new studio-recorded songs written specifically for this project!
In addition to the trio, the project features special contributions from Rafael Zumaeta (bass), Victor Brasil (drums), Leonardo Laporte (keyboards, mixing, and mastering), Ronaldo Moura (mixing and mastering), Sidnei Florêncio (cover photography), and Scheckter Barreto (artwork).
It is a true all-star lineup for a project that brought us great joy, and we are now honored to share it with you across all digital platforms!
