B.B. and the Stingers is an innovative, versatile heavy blues trio showcasing the guitar wizardry and songcraft of Bernie Brausewetter. The band's musical roots lie in traditional blues and the blues/rock influences of the late 1960's. Their individual mastery, combined with today's guitar pyrotechnics and creative songwriting, puts this trio in a class by itself. Bernie formed B.B. and the Stingers in 1990 after gigging and touring New York/New Jersey through the 70s and 80s. Bernie has a well-earned reputation as a "guitar player's guitar player," and his power trio is renowned as one of the most creative and virtuosic bands going. In addition to their loyal local following, the Stingers have radio airplay and a growing fan base in Europe.
