Jason Good is a Morgantown-based guitarist, composer and singer who has been making a name for himself and his namesake quartet in the regional live music scene.
“Jazz is our first love, obviously,” said Scott Duarte, Managing Partner at Mia Marguerita. “But we love all great music ”.
The band features Good on guitar and vocals, Drew Jones on keyboard and saxophone, Justin Bricker on bass and J.L. Holsberry on drums.“We play all types of blues,” explained Good in a phone interview while taking a break from his job as a legal videographer. “You’ll hear Clapton and traditional blues covers, but we’ve got a petty diverse catalog so we can get into some jazzy low dynamic stuff too.”
Good says his band loves to play smaller venues because of the intimacy with the audience. “We play lots o f restaurants and clubs where we get a great reaction from the crowd.”
