Marcello Tempesta, born on 24 March 1994 in Casarano (Lecce), Italy. He is a guitarist songwriter.  His passion for music and guitar began at an early age, inspired by the folk music typical of his region, Puglia. At the age of 5 he already has his first guitar. A few years later, thanks to his older friends with greater experience in music, Marcello discovers some musical styles such as Rock and roll, blues and especially rockabilly from which his stage name "Billy Tempesta" will derive. His first musical appearances took place in Salento, southern Italy where Marcello took part in his first ROCKnROLL band "hipnostady" in which he played the bass. Later he was part 'as a guitarist, of a "Fabrizio De Andre Tribute Band" and as a singer of "The Blues Brothers Tribute band", with which he performed more than 300 concerts in 3 years. After graduating from high school he came to Sofia as a dental student where he has lived since October 2014.Her first appearance on Sofia's stage at Delta Blues Bar, where she took part in the weekly Jam session. It was there that he met one of the members of his first band "Tempesta and Groove Department", accompanied by Ivaylo Chipev-drums, Mario Ivanov-bass, Vladimir Todorov-guitar. With this band he started playing in clubs in Sofia and surrounding cities, most of the time having a permanent engagement in the Swingin Hall Music Club. Later the band was sent to take part in the Vasco the Patch television program on Scat TV. Over the years Marcello has gained experience and friendships with musicians, creating in the meantime "Tintirimintiri Blues Trio" with Nikolay Bakalov - drums, Julian Traikov - bass and "The Overalls Rockabilly Trio" with Valeri Pastamardzhiev - double bass and Georgi Bakardiezh - drums.He boasts a long series of performances throughout Bulgarian as a one man show thanks to his "True Italian Show". For the last 2 years he has been guitarist and singer of the Bulgarian band Dirty Purchase together with Amalia Nenova, Hristoslav Galileev, Nikolay Danev, Todor Bakardzhiev, Kiril Zafirov, Martin Stoyanov, Lyudmil Stoynev, Denis Popstoev.Recently, Marcello was the singer of the Blues Brothers Tribute Band of Sofia, together with Mihail Yosifov, Velislav Stoyanov, Venelin Georgiev, Milen Kukosharov, Daniele Febo. Now Marcello is a dentist and is working on his first album, with the participation of musicians: Julian Traikov - bass, Ivan Peychev - guitar, Nikolai Bakalov - drums, Mikhail Yosifov - trumpet, Todor Bakardzhiev - trumpet, Velislav Stoyanov - trombone, Venelin Georgiev - saxophone, Arnau Garofe - saxophone.
