4 piece traditional blues act PJ O’Brien Mike Rix Greg Clark Illya Swzec Dan Sullivan/ A collaboration countless years in the making, Tomcat Playground are a new act on the blues scene, consisting of some of the East coasts finest blues musicians. Delivering a high energy, swinging style of traditional blues reminiscent of an era of Saturday night Juke joints, back alley gambling haunts and jazz bars, audiences consistently leave gigs sweating, smiling and wanting more. A four piece act, consisting guitarist Dave Blanken, Bass player Mike Rix, Drummer Greg Clarke and Harmonica player Dan Sullivan, the four have worked with some of Australia’s finest blues acts including Alison Penney & the Moneymakers, 19 Twenty and The Jacky Howellers.
