Paul Wood has released "Pirate Radio", his much-anticipated third solo album of slammin' blues rock. This 10-track CD spotlights Wood's versatile song writing abilities, guitar prowess and vocals. In addition to the designated hit single, "Black Dog", the album features Wood's stylizations of two previously unrecorded original works by the late Steve Gaines (Lynyrd Skynyrd). Recorded in Memphis at Sounds Unreel Studio, "Pirate Radio" was produced by Memphis guitar master Jack Holder, heralded for his production of Wood's critically acclaimed 2001 release, "Blues Is My Business".
