Long considered one of the best and most influential electric guitarists in the S.F. Bay Area, Chris Cobb presents his new CD. Chris is mostly known as a blues player, he's toured and recorded with "Sista" Monica Parker, E.C. Scott, Mitch Woods and Mark Ford just to name a few. This CD is steeped in lowdown Blues, but Chris takes us other places too. From the raucous boogie of "4A Ride" to the ripping jazz/blues shuffle of "Bubba & Skippy" to the dreamy but intense cover of Santo and Johnny's "Sleepwalk" Cobb's playing is all heart and fire. Bassist A.J. (Artis Joyce) and drummer Lee Neal provide the groove, power and soul to all of the tracks. Of the 11 songs here, 8 are Cobb originals that display his exciting harmonic, melodic ideas and his soulful vocal style.
