Waltham’s Alan Arena has been writing songs since 1978. At seventeen, he didn’t even know his first song “Doing 110 at 3AM” was influenced by Chuck Berry or the blues! In 1994, Alan formed his first blues band - Watch City Blues. Watch City plays a mix of Alan's original's songs, a mix of up-tempo contemporary/classic blues, and Americana. Alan's first cd "Where's the Rainbow" became Limelight Magazine’s Top 10 Solo Artist Album of the Decade.
