From the ashes of La banda Del Yuyu, a rock band from Girona, Silverflame is born to bring classic rock music and blues to your hears.
Girona-based band Silverflame have released their second album, Fly on (Self-published), this Friday. Seven years after debuting with First flight, the band is releasing new material, eight tracks that keep the flame of rock and blues alive, and in a format that, in addition to digital, will also be available on vinyl at their concerts. The official presentation of the album will be next Friday, September 19, as part of MiroRock, the rock festival at the La Mirona venue in Salt. Closely linked to the Girona rock scene that revolves around events such as Cartellà Rock or the Nostaldisc fair in Sant Gregori, Silverflame was born in 2017 from the conjunction of singer Sheila Endekos and four musicians from the now-defunct La Banda del Yuyu. Currently, Endekos remains the voice of Silverflame, supported by Jordi Turon and Jep Vilaplana on guitars, Javi Galván on bass and Jordi Vila on drums, and since last year, Fran Esquiaga has joined them on keyboards.
