As you'd expect from these excellent musicians, there is some fine playing and singing on this disc. There are a lot of extended solos, which to me, occasionally go a bit long. The disc offers a nice variety of work from both artists and some nice collaborations. The rhythm section offers stellar support to Edgar and Luke. The high point for me is Tobacco Road which is masterfully done. This disc is for people who like both artists' work and are prepared to hear the artists induilge themselves in their art without worrying about being commercial or pleasing critics. Both gentlemen are in fine voice and at their playing peak. The sound quality, for the most part, is quite good for a live performance. Every instrument cuts through. The disc offers a nice variety of styles from blues, to jazz, to rockers to ballads. I was most surprised how flawlessly each plays on the other's songs, as if they'd been playing together for years. I guess that's what one should expect from two musical greats.
