Contemporary blues with hints of jazz, soul, funk and tent revival gospel/
Misty Blues started out as a 4-piece band paying homage to the great female blues artists of yesteryear … celebrating their music with the live music audiences of Berkshire County, MA. Now, twenty years later, we are a well seasoned 6-piece band performing original and traditional blues with hints of jazz, funk, soul and tent revival gospel. We have recorded and shared the stage with Charles Neville and opened for traditional & contemporary blues artists like Tab Benoit, John Primer, Albert Cummings and Michael Powers. In 2019 we became a finalist in the International Blues Challenge and released a music video directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker, Dave Simonds. Pickled & Aged is our 8th album to date. Our music has aired on B.B. King’s Bluesville, Ole Harv’s Blues Revue, Oogie Richards’ Mighty Mouth Blues, Sonny Rock’s Stormy Monday Blues and Kevin Hardy’s Main Street Blues radio shows to name a few. In fact, our original recordings have hit the airwaves on blues radio stations/shows across the globe.
The Band: Gina Coleman (Lead Vocals/Cigar Box/Percussion), Jason Webster (Guitar/Banjo/Vocals),
Bill Patriquin (Bass/Trumpet/Vocals), Benny Kohn (Keys/Vocals), Rob Tatten (Drums/Tuba/Vocals), Aaron Dean (Sax)
Special Guest: Diego Mongue (Drums/Bass)
Recording Engineer: Frank Kennedy/Album Artwork: Michael Mongue
