Adrian Niles Band blends blues, roots-rock and folk music with guitar-driven rock ‘n roll. Along with his soul-stirring voice and outstanding guitar playing, Niles’ use of a slide in alternate-tunings on his resonator guitar helps to create a sound that is unique and riveting.
Adrian Niles Band presents original songs from their 5 CD catalogue; however, occasionally, the band also performs, in the…ir own style, fan favorites from Bob Dylan, Robert Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters, just to name a few. ANB appeals to eclectic audiences; fans of intelligent & thought-provoking lyrics, musical integrity, tight harmonies, and those who just want to simply cut loose and dance should all feel at home. The band has passion, intensity, and enthusiasm for the music they create and hold a deep appreciation and respect for those who listen. Since 1998 Niles has released six full length C.D.'s. The first record was called "Manumit"; while promoting, ANB was invited to perform on Pittsburgh's WDVE 102.5 FM Morning Show w/ Jim & Randy…Twice! In 2007 Niles co-fronted The Trainjumpers and Released "Deadtown". The title track got quite a bit of air-play and earned the # 42 out of 100 songs for 2007 on local Clear Channel radio station Eagle 107.5 FM. Adrian left The Trainjumpers that summer and starting his third record "Things Gonna Break", of which he produced and recorded. In 2010 Adrian Niles Band released two records;“Ghost Road” harkens back to the rock sounds of the late 90's ANB, while the live C.D. “Bootlegged Down On Main Street”, is a full throttle Rock and Blues album recorded at Down On Main Street in North Wheeling, West Virginia. Their latest release is called “Roll & Move” and has received rave reviews from fans new and old.In August, 2010, ANB performed on the Main Stage at Wheeling's Heritage Blues Fest…A coveted spot for any act! They have opened shows for rock n’ roll hall of fame artist Dave Mason, and were thrilled to warm-up a show for Los Lonely Boys in 2010 at Pepsi Roadhouse in Burgettstown, PA. Throughout the years Adrian Niles Band has performed with artists such as: Jefferson Airplane, Ben Orr of The Cars, Stevie Ray Vaughn’s rhythm section “Double Trouble” and Pittsburgh legend Donnie Iris. In February of 2011, Adrian Niles Band finished as semi-finalists in the International Blues Competition on Historic Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee: as a result, they were invited to perform at the “Kings Of Beale Street” blues competition at the New Daisy Theatre on Beale.
