Neal Rae Wyms is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter who hails from the musical enclaves of Southwest Virginia who has performed professionally for most of his life. His past work included his presence as a bassist with such artists Speech of Arrested Development, William Bell and the legendary Clarence Carter. While his musical stylings are varied, he is currently focusing his career as a blues artist. Self taught, he plays all the instruments and sings all vocals on his recorded works to date. Neal's current catalog of work consists of six cd projects: The Facebook Blues, A Place To Call Home, Nobody But Me, Neal Wyms Live at Newtown, My Love Is Strong and Hometown Star. Neal's blues influiences are Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Lightning Hopkins, ElmoreJames and Keb Mo among others. Neal is currently expanding his schedule to include more venues and festivals.  Neal works with a variety of artists to bring his live show to the masses.
