We are happy to have on our hands the first transnational European blues band which comes to prove not only the quality but also the good health of the blues that is currently cooked in Europe.
This group includes a team of excellent musicians like Budda Guedes from Portugal on vocals and guitar, Eric Slim Zahl (European Blues Challenge 2016 winner in Torrita di Siena) from Norway on vocals and guitar, Bart Szopinski from Poland on piano, Hammond and vocals, Danny del Toro from Spain on harmonica and vocals, Vasco Moura from Portugal on bass and vocals and finally from Italy Nik Taccori on drums and vocals. All of them lead their own projects in their countries, but, this time, they have joined forces to show their quality and good work in an excellent varied album where each musician gives the best of himself. Of the ten songs included in this interesting recording, seven are Budda Guedes’ own compositions, two belong to Danny del Toro and one more to Eric Slim Zahl.Besides a diverse album which brings together different styles and colorful blues visions in a series of endless good moments, this recording opens the doors to new collaborations, not only by this amazing group of musicians we hope to have more news soon, but also of by other European the blues artists. An interesting initiative we hope will go on in the next future.
