“This album is a personal exploration of the complexities of relationships - how they shape us, challenge us, and teach us about ourselves,” founding member, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Andrew Gravel explains. “Every song weaves together themes of love, trust, remorse, and reconciliation.” "This album captures a very specific moment in my life - almost every song was born within an 18-month period,” says Andrew. “While our earlier albums often covered a wide range of subjects, “Find What You Need” is, at its core, about the complexities of relationships.” Unlike previous albums, "Find What You Need" is the first to be produced outside the band. The record was recorded at Power Station New England - a replica of the legendary New York City Power Station/Avatar Studios - with Grammy-winning producers John Paterno (Gov’t Mule, Bonnie Raitt, Robben Ford) and Greg Ogan (Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson). Working with external producers allowed the band to focus entirely on the performance. “John and Greg challenged us with fresh ideas and innovative recording techniques that pushed our boundaries,” Andrew explains. Another defining feature of this album? Live recording. The band chose to capture their raw energy as performers, keeping overdubs to a minimum for an authentic, organic sound that captures the live essence of The Gravel Project.
