Clifford Curry's career started in the mid-50s with teen-aged groups The Echos and The Five Pennies. Bouncing around his Knoxville, Tennessee home from group to group, he finally hit the national charts in 1967 with the classic She Shot A Hole In My Soul which has guaranteed him a lifelong career appealing to England's Northern Soul fans as well as becoming The King of Beach Music in the Carolinas with his shag-related repertoire. Clifford's Blues was originally released by Appaloosa Records in 1995
