Curtis Matheson has been a guitarist for 10 years, and a vocalist since the age of 14. Other influences include a wide variety of names, such as the late Dutch Mason, Garrett Mason, John Campbelljohn, The Blues Merchants, Jeff Healey, Fathead, Powder Blues Band, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jonny Lang, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Little Walter,….etc. In October 2014, Curtis released his debut album "A Particular Blue". Curtis Matheson uses Fender guitars and amps, Traynor amps, Fulltone pedals, Hohner harmonicas, Shure vocal and harmonica microphones, Dunlop slides, and D.B. Custom Cigar Box Guitars.
