Often cited as Sydney’s “university of the blues”, the Foreday Riders celebrate 54 years as a working band in 2021, and 2 original members from 1967 remain: the King Brothers, Ron (harmonica, vocals) and Jeff (guitar, Dobro) with current outfit featuring Rosscoe Clark (drums) and Stan Mobbs on bass, The front man of the Riders can vary and at present features Shane Pacey, of Bondi Cigars fame.  
Herding Cats’ 2015: Well known as a member of the Bondi Cigars, singer/guitarist Shane Pacey had also fronted the Riders for a couple of years when ‘Herding Cats’ was recorded. The session was boosted by guests Bruce Bongers (baritone sax), Al Briton (bass, another Bondi Cigar), Carolyn Packer (keyboards) and the Riders’ first singer in the 60s, Jill ‘Buttercup’ Tweedie. All original material except for one track, a blowing favourite, Milt Jackson’s ‘Bluesology’.
