Born James Raymond Utton on the 2nd of November 1946 AKA LITTLE JIMMY BREEZE immigrated to Canada in 1968 and joined Rock Band Jack the Bear in Galt Ontario then formed the band Calabash a Lynyard Skynyard clone band who was the opening act for MOLLY HATCHET, BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, TROOPER and MAX WEBSTER and many more in the 80’s The name BREEZE came about during the Calabash reign, after introducing the band members in shows and not introducing himself the next song would be THEY CALL ME THE BREEZE (JJ. Cale) so naturally he became known as MR BREEZE or the Breeze.
