CJP came about as a bucket list item and a desire to create and record original songs with great rhythm and blues feel. CJP’s front-man Jim McMullen is a Boston based musician who has played with some of the most sought after musicians in the country. His style is influenced by greats like Antoine Domino, Al Greene, Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, Marvin Gay, Nat King Cole, Jerry Jemmott, Chuck Rainey, James Jamerson to name a few. He considers himself “incredibly fortunate to be able to continue working in a creative capacity with some of Boston’s greatest players”. The latest releases are the start of a new collection of songs written at the onset of the Covid pandemic. Thanks to modern day technology recordings were done remotely at each musicians home studio. Drummer and producer on CJP, Lorne Entress, has performed and worked with a wide range of artists and hosts a monthly residency called The Sideman  Series. Kevin Barry, lap steel, pedal steel and guitarist, has toured with many prominent artists in the industry. Dave Limina, all keys including Hammond B3, has traveled and recorded worldwide with some of the finest musicians and has been featured on many TV and film soundtracks.
