Jive Mother Mary formed in 2006 in Alamance County NC (Burlington area) and unlike your typical young teens comparing musical interests, they found their tastes came from the mastery of rock and blues legends decades before them like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling stones, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd and others. It was determined from day 1 that their sound was going to be nurtured by lessons well honed from the past yet still have the fresh special songwriting and fat sound for today’s world.
