Deep Mud is the third incarnation of drummer Danny Kelly and Guitarist John Kirkland's long-running, blues-based musical collaboration, adding Korey Morris on bass.
Deep Mud delivers their first EP, "Drown Me," with four cuts steeped in their blues rock core sound. Named after a lyric in their signature song "Deep Mud," this EP features driving rhythms, growling guitars and sturdy basslines that shake out those dirty blues.

All four tracks have been part of the line-up for several years, with "Cold Year," "Sadie Brown," and "Devils You Know" each seeing their first studio release on "Drown Me."
"Drown Me" was recorded in October 2021 in Lexington, KY.
