The Crazy Texas Gypsies started out in Reno (USA) in 1999 with drummer Jerry Coleman and Bob Cancro on the Hammond. They recorded their first album in 2002 during Street Vibrations in Virginia City Nevada with a second one at BigWater Studios in Lake Tahoe just over a year later. The Gypsies did many shows opening for great performers such as Delbert McClinton, Bernard Allison, Walter Trout, Curtis Salgado and many others before finding management with Katy Baker in 2004. They went right to work for Bill Graham Presents playing with acts such as Kenny Wayne Shepard and three shows with ZZ Top when legal matters brought the band to it's knees. Now........ Kenny Williams & Kevin Fraser from the original band along with Glenn Hummel & Doug Skoog from the Tacoma area have put the Crazy Texas Gypsies back together and are starting to play the Tacoma/Seattle area with plans of a new CD very soon.
