Although born in the USA, these two veterans of the Israeli blues scene have joined forces to realize a long-held dream. Dov Hammer handles vocals and harmonica, while his partner CG Shorer also sings and plays guitar. For this project, the duo is backed by the Midnight Mojo Blues Band, a group of professionals who perform their role flawlessly. The band plays traditional blues, exploring various sub-genres ranging from funk-influenced blues to contemporary Chicago blues. It is a fresh, diverse album—perfect for getting through the sweltering heat of August while enjoying it in good company with an ice-cold beer.
