The Alex Beaird Band is a blues-rock outfit from Southeast Missouri. A sense of rhythm, minimalist song structure, and vintage guitar tone characterize the sound conveyed on their debut release: "Shine On." Alex Beaird is the singer, songwriter, and lead guitarist for the band, and has worked the Southeast Missouri music scene for 3 years fronting rock band Bull Mountain Revelry. The new project is a bluesier, more soulful approach to rock 'n roll, with influences of folk, jazz, and country.Justin Beaird, Alex's younger brother is the percussionist. Although this is his first project, as far as bands are concerned, he is an accomplished snare player and received 1s in individual and group competition for state high school band. Matt Garner, the bassist is the former bassist for Midnight Run, a cover band out of Dexter.
