During the month of March, Vargas Blues Band will release their 27th LP, "Stoner Night", a double album with an amazing updated Hard Blues and Rock sound. Vargas Blues Band, the veteran formation led by Javier Vargas, finalizes the details of a double album. The two installments will be published independently, first "Stoner Night", will be released in March. The second LP, "Stoner Night Volume 2", will be released a few weeks later. Both will include sung and instrumental pieces. The songs were recorded during the summer of last year, one of the hottest in memory and I think that these high temperatures are reflected in these new recordings. 2023 is the year of the return to the international tours of the Vargas Blues Band, as well as presentations and participation in festivals throughout our country. The return to a seminal sound, with clear nods to the Blues pioneers.
Vargas, at the peak of his creativity, continues to surprise us with twenty new songs that can be described in the way that Carlos Santana once said: "his music is like a rainbow and in this new work he shows it, he will not go unnoticed...", after After receiving eight platinum records for his long career, he returns with his band to the road.
