Theo 'Boogieman' Dasbach. Grew up in Holland and in 1997 he founded the "Rock and Blues Museum". IThe nmuseum was relocated to Clarksdale, Mississippi, USA in 2005. The boogie piano player has released his third CD in 2016.
Theo divides his time between his residence in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Rock & Blues Museum in Clarksdale, Mississippi, which he founded with his wife, Cindy Hudock. No blues lover can remain indifferent to Theo's journey, as he has been welcoming blues enthusiasts from around the world to his museum for over eight years.
In his sixties, Theo was born in Holland and worked as a lawyer in the financial sector in the world's major capitals. Upon retirement, he decided to pursue his passion for the blues and found a museum in the small town of Clarksdale in the Mississippi Delta, a place many consider the birthplace of the blues. Clarksdale is also home to Robert Johnson's legendary Crossroads (junction of Routes 61 and 49). The majority of the objects exhibited at the museum (records, guitars, posters, etc.) come from his personal collection, which he patiently amassed over several decades.
