Shed My Skin is the debut album featuring nine songs from the Kentucky guitar slingin’, hard rocking, bluesman Dean Hall. His second CD “The Ghost of James Bell” (1997) features my favorite track - My Baby’s a Pig. I like the bluesy feel of Shed over the harder rock intensity of Ghost. I saw Dean at the ZZ Top concert 7/27/05 – he’s a big dude, kinda looks like Mr. Clean – he can sing, write and plays a mean guitar. At the time of ZZ concert Dean was playing guitar and touring with Gretchen Wilson on Kenny Chesney’s Somewhere in the Sun tour.
